In 2020, I expressed my passion for our Country, my love for our Lord and my undying faith by starting an email initiative which is titled: “Church and Politics”. My own personal experience in my run for Congress in 2020 was eye-opening as to the need for people to become educated about the issues, candidates and the political system.
My goals for this Church and Politics ministry work include: encouraging God-fearing political candidates, providing information and addressing election and voter registration inquiries from the general public, voters and potential voters.
Moreover, the Church and Politics email communications are an endeavor to provide facts and educate Americans on our Constitution and how similar the principals of which are mirrored in the Bible. In-fact 27 of our 56 founding fathers who wrote the Constitution, were theologians. Our Bible clearly dictates that we are to be part of the leaders who govern our Country.
However, I do agree in-part with the people who believe in the necessity to separate Church and State, in that we need to be free to practice our chosen faith, thus keeping government out of churches. But, churches with congregations composed of people like you and me, need to be involved in government. As God-loving people and responsible citizens we must seek the truth, educate ourselves, stay aware and keep informed.
